Dr. Beringer is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at Mann School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Southern California. His clinical practice and research are conducted at the Adult CF program at Keck Medical Center of USC.
Dr. Beringer has been a principal investigator on a number of research studies on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory therapies. He has authored numerous articles on original research, review articles, and book chapters in the area of Cystic Fibrosis. His recent work has focused on drug interactions and dose optimization of CFTR modulators. His work is currently funded from grants from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Anton Yelchin Foundation, and Pharmaceutical Industry.
He has been awarded fellowship status with the American Society of Health System Pharmacist (FASHP) and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (FCCP). He currently serves as a pharmacy member on the NACFC planning committee. He is a member of the Pharmaceutical Science and Clinical Pharmacology Advisory Committee (PSCP) of the FDA.
