Dr. Kathleen ("Kathy") Ramos, MD MS, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Washington (UW) in Seattle. Dr. Ramos completed her Masters degree in Epidemiology. She completed a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) Harry Shwachman Career Development Award and an NIH K23. She is currently supported by CFF Clinical Research Awards and an NIH R01. She is the Director of the Adult CF Therapeutics Development Network (TDN) site at UW and serves as site PI for several investigator-initiated studies in CF. She is the Interim Medical Director of the CF TDN Coordinating Center. Dr. Ramos' research is related to CF and lung transplantation, with an emphasis on clinical outcomes and health disparities.
