DeeAnna Serna, RRT-NPS, AE-C (she/her/hers)

University of California Los Angeles (UCLA)

DeeAnna Serna, RCP, RRT-NPS, AE-C, is the Respiratory Therapy Manager and Research Coordinator at the UCLA Cystic Fibrosis Center.

With over 25 years of clinical practice across central and southern California, DeeAnna has specialized in neonatal and pediatric care, focusing on cystic fibrosis (CF) since joining the outpatient team in 2012.

She collaborates with her team to optimize patient lung function through Airway Clearance Techniques (ACTs) and the integration of fitness and self-care into daily CF management, driven by a deep passion for CF care and research.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys catching evenings at the Hollywood Bowl and planning Disney adventures with her partner Drew, along with cheering on her favorite Los Angeles teams: the Dodgers, LA Kings, and Angel City FC (ACFC). She is also a proud dog mom to Lola Grace and Sylvie Baer.
