This workshop will highlight novel nutrition topics for children and adults with CF, such as assessing dietary patterns related to body composition in adults on modulator therapy and results of a phase 1 trial using non-porcine pancreatic enzymes. This workshop will provide participants with examples of intervention strategies for specific nutrition concerns like identifying feeding behaviors in infants and toddlers and impact of CF vitamins in preschool children.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe innovative nutrition interventions targeting people with CF. In adults with CF taking modulators, describe dietary patterns and outcome indicators of body composition.
  • Discuss Phase 1 trial research results of ANG003, a non-porcine pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy.
  • Review examples of structured interventions focused on improving nutrition care for infants and children with CF.
