TPS05--Nutrition Innovations

This session will consist of two key components: (1) poster viewing followed by a (2) moderated discussion. It is designed for the authors and the audience to explore a range of topics meant to inform an individualized approach to nutrition care in the era of HEMT. Highlights of the session will include potential new approaches to the measurement and monitoring of nutritional health in people with CF as well as a review of disease progression in various organ systems, co-morbidities, and diagnostic criteria.

Learning Objectives:

  • Inform the creation of an individualized approach while continuing to implement and follow evidenced-based population guidelines
  • Summarize potential new tools for the measurement of nutritional health and improve nutritional outcomes
  • Differentiate between maintenance health screening standards and areas where a change in approach for people with CF may result in more meaningful and/or actionable information
