Discuss hot topics in CF nutrition and gastroenterology of changing pancreatic function, GLP 1 agonist and optimization of nutrition status in over and under nutrition.

Learning Objectives:

  • To describe formula compatibility with pancreatic enzyme replacement cartridges.
  • To discuss strategies for optimizing oral nutrition in a neonate via a multidisciplinary approach to avoid surgery.
  • To address patient concerns with weight gain on HEMT and discuss the use of anti-obesity medications in the CF population and potential challenges. To assess the need for fecal elastase testing in a well nourished adult with no signs of malabsorption.
