This session consists of two main parts: poster viewing followed by a moderated discussion. It is designed to engage the authors and the audience in a discussion that ties together ideas from multiple posters. This thematic poster session highlights advancements in the establishment, characterization, and use of pre-clinical models of CF organ disease for both basic biology investigation and therapeutic development.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss the importance and utility of pre-clinical models for basic to translational CF research.
  • Describe specific models and their application in pre-clinical CF research.
  • Evaluate the suitability of specific models to address fundamental questions in pre-clinical CF research.
