The novel psychosocial interventions workshop will showcase new psychotherapeutic interventions for individuals living with CF from early childhood to adulthood. We will highlight new programs and provide updates on evidence-based strategies designed to improve the psychosocial adjustment and quality of life of persons with CF.

Learning Objectives:

  • Review advances in psychosocial programs designed to improve the wellbeing of persons with CF.
  • Discuss common clinical and presenting concerns of persons with CF seeking mental health care, including a review of current barriers to access to mental health care.
  • Explore ways to optimize the delivery of evidence-based psychosocial programs in both integrated health settings and traditional psychotherapy settings.
