The session will highlight the challenges of aging with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). It will cover various aspects of physical health, neurodegenerative implications, holistic care, practical considerations, proactive management of aging and CF, quality of life management, and patient-centered care. Attendees will gain insights and practical strategies for promoting brain health, managing age-related complications, incorporating holistic care, and fostering open communication and collaboration between patients and healthcare providers.

  • Identify the unique challenges associated with aging in individuals with Cystic Fibrosis (CF), including physical health complications and emotional considerations.
  • Explore evidence-based strategies for promoting cognitive health and overall well-being in adults with CF, incorporating mental exercises, healthy lifestyle choices, and social engagement.
